Esta figura ha sido creada con la intención de proteger el patrimonio del hijo menor o incapacitado del testador. This paper aims at revealing the partial results of the research I have been conducting since 2010 with the community of unaccompanied children and youngsters hosted by the protection system of the Autonomous Community of Galicia (Spain). The research focuses on a case study, including adolescents from a specific territory of Morocco, the province of Beni Mellal, one of the most relevant out-bound migration regions into Spain and Italy. The study points out some gaps in the implementation of the rights of the child that blocks the access to protection, conditioning his/her vital trajectory and social integration after youngster's departure from the hosting institution.
